VRML CON 2023 is Happening!

We are very thankful to our sponsors for helping us host our 1st VRML in-person event! This LAN will be held in Denver, Colorado at the McNichols Civic Center. 
 
In partnership with Resolution Games and Ready At Dawn, Blaston, Ultimechs, and Echo Arena will be the line-up of featured games at VRML Con 2023! More information will become available in the coming weeks.

Hotel Rooms 
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Holiday Inn Express: Denver Downtown to offer the community a discounted rate on hotel rooms for VRML Con. The room rates are $139 USD/night and are limited. If you want a chance at the discounted rate then buy quickly! Note - Users must have a ticket to VRML Con in order to purchase a hotel room at the discounted rate. Users who have purchased a ticket will be getting information about how to purchase a hotel room at the discounted rate via an email from us.
 
We sent out hotel information to ticket holders last Saturday, so if you purchased a ticket to VRML Con please make sure to check your email! We will be sending out emails in waves, probably once a week.
 
 
Headset Information
VRML Con will be a bring-your-own-headset event. Check with the game you are competing in to see which models are green lighted. PCVR is not allowed.
 
 
Sponsors at VRML Con
At VRML Con we will have sponsor and demo booths! If you and your organization or company are interested in having a booth, please create a ticket in the Support Server and let us know! A list of confirmed booths will be made public as details unfold.
 

 

Echo Arena Sunset Cup

Sunset Cup will be hosted at VRML Con as a "last goodbye" to the game we all love. This tournament will be open to all players who have bought a ticket to VRML Con. We will have an open qualifier hosted online to get down to the remaining 6-8 teams. This qualifier will be hosted May 1-7th. The remaining rounds will be played live on stage in Denver, Colorado June 4th. The live tournament will be Meta Quest 1, 2, or Pro only. PCVR will not be supported. More information about this tournament coming next week! 

Contrary to what was previously posted, Season 7 Grand Finals will not be hosted live at VRML Con. Due to the announcement of Echo VR being shut down, we are switching to a community based event, rather than hosting the Grand Finals live. This means all rounds of finals will be played online, like previous seasons. We will not be flying out Echo Arena players for VRML Con. 

 

Blaston Semi-Finals and Grand Finals

At the end of Season 2, we will be hosting the Semi-Finals and Grand Finals live in Denver, Colorado at VRML Con! VRML has partnered with Resolution Games to host Blaston at the event. We will be flying out and housing the top 2 players in NA and top 2 players in EU!

Meta Quest 2, Pico 4, or Pico Neo 3 Link headsets will be allowed at the event. PCVR is not allowed. 

 

Ultimechs Grand Finals

At the end of Season 1 we will be hosting the Grand Finals live in Denver, Colorado at VRML Con! VRML has partnered with Resolution Games to host Ultimechs at the event. We will be flying out and housing the top team in NA and top team in EU. Only 2 players from each team will be flown out to play live. 

Meta Quest 2, Pico 4, or Pico Neo 3 Link headsets will be allowed at the event. PCVR is not allowed.
