For Breachers, X8, and VAIL:
VRML will be collecting information (including but not limited to full name, birth date, and local airport) about players early in the post-season. At the end of each respective semi-final when qualified teams are known, VRML will reach out to the team and individual players to coordinate flight and hotel details. Players will be required to sign liability and media release waivers. Departure flights will occur on Friday, July 19th. Return flights will leave on Monday, July 22nd. Players will be responsible for local travel between the airport, venue, and hotel for all days, as well as any additional expenses incurred during the trip.
For Onward:
At the end of the Invitational semi-finals, VRML will reach out with details about VRML Con timing. Players will be required to sign liability and media release waivers. Players will be responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

Upon arrival in Denver on Friday, you will be expected to check in virtually with VRML. You will have a scheduled time for a required Media session at the partnered hotel. This media session will consist of, but may not be limited to, individual portrait photos of each player. The images captured will be used as assets for both video production and future promotion.
On your match day, you will be expected to arrive at the venue as early as 9:00 am. The exact time will be communicated the day before. When arriving, your headset will undergo an anti-cheat/software integrity check. After that, headset network connection checks will occur and your team will walk through the event run-of-show, including taking a team picture on the stage. After pre-event check, you will be dismissed. You are required to arrive back at the venue and check in an hour before your match start time unless communicated otherwise.
You are expected to communicate any challenges or issues that arise during your trip, keeping our team up to date.

VRML will pay for the flight of each grand finalist player in Breachers, X8, and Vail, and provide them with a room in the event hotel. If a qualified competitor is under the age of 18, VRML will also provide travel for an accompanying guardian.
VRML Con is a standalone-headsets-only event. This is limited to all Meta Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro headsets. Attendees must bring their own headsets in order to use the free-play spaces. Competitors in one of the one-stage events are encouraged to bring their own headset to use, but if they do not have a standalone headset, one may be provided by VRML to use during the event.
The Onward Invitational will be played in 2 stages, an online elimination stage, and a live Championship. Up to the first 32 teams registered will be entered into the online elimination stage of the tournament. The top 2 teams from the online stage will move on to play in the Championship match live on stage in Denver!
Anyone attending VRML Con can form a team and enter into the Onward Invitational. The team does NOT have to be the same roster as your official VRML team and VRML won't be restricting the rank of players allowed on each team. MMR of Mixed teams will be calculated manually to decide tournament seeding. All players on the team must be attending VRML Con and provide proof with a ticket.
Hosting season finals at LAN is not cheap and was made possible by the generous support of Triangle Factory, Aexlab, and Thirdverse who agreed to fund the travel of their respective finalists. While VRML was unable to acquire support to fund Onward’s season finals, we are still excited to be able to provide a place for the Onward community to come together at VRML Con with the Invitational.
