Stage 2 - Round-robin Group Stage -

OA Region:

Tournament Structure:

  • 4 teams (Rank #1 to #4 from the Regional Season Standings).
  • Each team will play the other teams in their group in a round-robin format.
  • Each match consists of 2 maps.

Match Setup:

  • The team with the higher finish in the season standings starts as the home team for the first map. Roles switch for the second map.
  • Both teams alternate banning up to 3 maps each, with the option to skip one or more bans.

Map/Side Selection:

  • Map 1:
    • The home team decides either:
      • The map to be played.
      • Or the side (Marsoc/Volk) they want to start on.
  • Map 2:
    • The away team decides either:
      • The map to be played.
      • Or the side (Marsoc/Volk) they want to start on.

Scoring and Ranking:

  • Teams are ranked by the number of map wins.
  • Tiebreakers are determined first by the difference in points scored (± points) and then by the total points.
  • The top team will qualify for the World Tournament.

 

EU & NA Regions:

Tournament Structure:

  • 8 teams (Rank #1 to #7 from the Regional Season Standings and 1 from the Regional Challenger Cup Final) will be split into 2 groups.
  • Group A (Saturday): Teams ranked 2, 3, 6, and 7.
  • Group B (Sunday) : Teams ranked 1, 4, 5, and 8.
  • Each team plays the other teams in their respective group in a round-robin format.
  • Each match consists of 2 maps.

Match Setup:

  • The team with the higher finish in the season standings starts as the home team for the first map. Roles switch for the second map.
  • Both teams alternate banning up to 3 maps each, with the option to skip one or more bans.

  • Map 1:
    • The home team decides either:
      • The map to be played.
      • Or the side (Marsoc/Volk) they want to start on.
  • Map 2:
    • The away team decides either:
      • The map to be played.
      • Or the side (Marsoc/Volk) they want to start on.

  • Teams are ranked by the number of map wins.
  • Tiebreakers are determined first by the difference in points scored (± points) and then by the total points.
  • The top 2 teams from each group will be granted a spot for Stage 4.

Stage 3 - Regional Semi-Finals and Finals

Tournament Structure:

  • 4 teams will participate in a single-elimination bracket (2 teams for OCE).
  • The team which finished higher in its round-robin group will be the home team.

Match Setup:

  • Both teams alternate banning up to 2 maps each, with the option to skip one or more bans. This banning process happens once before the first map begins.
  • Map Selection:
    • The home team decides either:
      • The map to be played.
      • Or the side (Marsoc/Volk) they want to start on.
  • This selection process is repeated for each map in the series.

Semi-Final Matches:

  • Format: Best of 3 maps.
  • The first team to win 2 maps advances to the finals.

Finals Matches:

  • Format: Best of 5 maps.
  • The first team to win 3 maps wins the finals.

Scoring and Ranking:

  • In both Semi-Finals and Finals, the matches are determined by the best of 3 or best of 5 maps format, respectively.
