Stage 1 - Challenger Cup - November 28th & 29th
The Challenger Cup is divided in 2 groups, 1 per day. All teams registered in the Challenger Cup will play a determined number of maps against other teams, in their corresponding group, based on the number of registrants. Details below.
The Challenger Cup follows the standards of a Swiss-system tournament. The first set of matches will be seeded by standings. Each match will consist of 1 map. Whichever team finished higher in the season standings will start home - for all matches. The Home team will ban first, then the Away team, then the Home team, then the Away team, then Home gets to decide on banning a map or choosing side (Marsoc/Vold).
All teams will be ranked by number of wins (& ties) then by Buchholz then by +/- points then by points total. If a tie happens, the teams will play a single-elimination map. The best team of each qualifier group will proceed to Stage 2.
First round of matches will start at 1800 UTC.
